SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician in Hanahan, SC .

Job Duties:

• Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables
• Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components
• Identify and report design or fitment issues and work with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays
• Must be able to multitask and adapt to rapid changes that are made during the build process
• Provide technical support during system testing. Must perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
• Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs

Desired Qualifications:

• Three years experience in maintenance or manufacturing
