Join a global leader in power systems technology as a Field Service Engineer specializing in high-voltage equipment (69kV – 550kV). We’re seeking a technically skilled professional with hands-on experience in substation field service operations — from installation and commissioning to diagnostics and repairs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead field service assignments across high voltage substation installations.
• Commission, test, and maintain equipment including circuit breakers, disconnectors, and related systems.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and field crews.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of HV equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic tests (SF6 gas analysis, power factor, contact resistance, etc.).
• Maintain detailed service documentation and reports.
• Recommend improvements and collaborate closely with engineering and client teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols.

What You Bring:

• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with high voltage substation equipment (>69kV).
• Proven leadership coordinating field crews on power utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and testing equipment (Megger, CB timers, Ductor, etc.).
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Ability to reside in or relocate to the greater Atlanta area.
