Description Join a specialized neurology practice in Carlsbad, CA, as a Front Desk Medical Receptionist. This critical role supports the daily operations of the practice, ensuring excellent first-point-of-contact interactions and smooth office workflows. Key Responsibilities: + Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and handling phone calls. + Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars. + Process patient check-in/check-out and verify insurance information. + Handle medical documentation, data entry, and electronic medical record maintenance. + Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and administrative staff. Requirements + High school diploma required; additional training in medical reception or administration preferred. + 2+ years of medical receptionist experience, ideally in a specialty medical office. + Familiarity with medical scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR). + Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and empathy. + Basic understanding of medical terminology.
