Position Overview: As the Golf & Media Intern at The Familie, you will work alongside the Head of Golf to support the division’s growth while also contributing to the agency’s social media presence and visual content development. This internship is ideal for students pursuing careers in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or related fields with a strong interest in content creation and digital strategy.
Please note this is an unpaid internship. Applicants must be eligible for class credit.
Key Responsibilities:
Golf Division Support
· Assist with targeted marketing outreach efforts for the golf client roster
· Conduct industry and prospective client research
· Support agents and clients with day-to-day tasks and initiatives
· Occasionally handle administrative duties
· Provide general assistance to the Golf division as needed
Social Media Support
· Contribute to the planning and execution of social media content for the Golf division
· Create engaging digital assets, including graphics and presentation decks
· Assist in managing and analyzing performance metrics for golf-related social posts
· Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for social strategy and content direction
· Maintain organization of design files and support asset updates for client materials
Details:
· Duration: 3-month summer internship, with flexible start and end dates based on the student’s academic calendar.
· Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week.
· Compensation: Unpaid; eligible for class credit.
· Start Date: Flexible, depending on the student’s academic schedule.
· Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
· Interest or experience in Marketing, Content Creation, or Graphic Design
· Passion for sports, especially golf, and a desire to work in the sports industry
· Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
· Knowledge of social media platforms and trends
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Preference for juniors, seniors, or postgraduates
