Job Description

We're searching for a dynamic, experienced hospitality professional to lead the nighttime weekend operations at our new upscale casual restaurant & lounge in the East Village. We seek a dedicated Night Manager for Fridays & Saturdays (5pm-2am) to cultivate an exceptional guest experience during our evening hours, contributing directly to our growing success.

Responsibilities:

• Providing a genuine and engaging welcome to all guests, fostering a comfortable and positive atmosphere through direct interaction, leaving customers highly satisfied.
• Overseeing all aspects of our full bar service, requiring expertise in crafting classic and contemporary cocktails, as well as knowledge of beer and wine selections. Prior experience in a lounge environment is a plus.
• Maintaining operational efficiency and composure in a fast-paced setting.
• Spearheading party and event bookings, leveraging existing networks or demonstrating a proactive approach to generating such business.
• Coordinating seamlessly with bartending and serving staff to ensure cohesive and high-quality service.
• Proactively addressing and resolving any guest or operational issues that may arise.
• Managing all end-of-shift closing procedures.
• Contributing to a consistently positive and energetic work environment.
• Driving bar sales, with potential for commission-based compensation tied to increased revenue.
• Closing shifts and completing closing reports.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a natural talent for building rapport with guests.
• Proven managerial experience with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and navigate challenging situations. Experience in a restaurant/lounge is a plus.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails and craft cocktails
• A proactive and energetic demeanor, coupled with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Well-developed problem-solving skills and sound independent judgment.
• A consistently positive and professional attitude.
