**Patient Access Representative** MD/Medical Duarte , CA, US Pay Rate Low: 20.00 | Pay Rate High: 22.00 + Added - 01/05/2025 Apply for Job We're seeking a highly organized and patient-focused **Patient Access Representative III** to support our clinical team by managing patient check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling across multiple departments. This role requires independent judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle complex scheduling and insurance verification. **Pay:** $20-$22/hr **Shift:** Monday-Friday: Department hours are 6:00 AM - 8:30 PM; staggered shifts apply + Weekends: Alternating coverage required, Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM **Key Responsibilities** + Register and schedule patients for a variety of clinical and hospital services + Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure financial clearance + Coordinate with departments to streamline appointments and procedures + Provide patients with clear instructions, estimates, and support documentation + Maintain accuracy and compliance in all records and communications + Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with issue resolution **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent + 2+ years of experience in patient registration and scheduling + Strong medical terminology knowledge + Preferred: EPIC experience and background in oncology front desk operations This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
